Cardo is a chunky plied yarn made of 100% non superwash Uruguayan Corriedale wool.

We love this wool for its long and strong staple that has a lot of shine and crimp, which gives the yarn excellent stitch definition and a knitted fabric that will retain its shape very well.

Classic in its construction and hand, Cardo is the perfect jumper yarn, it knits fast and will show off cables and fancy stitches. We also love it for homewares like cushions and blankets.
